Coffee Cake
INGREDIENTS
Flour......2 cups
Sugar......1 cup
Baking powder......2 tsp
Margarine.......cup
Egg........1
Milk,see below ;cinnamon
PREPARATION
mix together in a bowl the first four ingredients.
Take out half cup of this mixture to use later.
break the egg into a measuring cup;fill the cup with milk. Stir with a fork and add to the flour mixture in the bowl.
pour the mixture into a greased baking pan (loaf pan or 13” *9” pan );spread the ? cup mixture,which was saved,over the top.
Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
bake in a moderate oven . serve hot or cold with a cup of coffee or tea.
