LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) has decided to mount pressure on the government for the repeal of the 17th Amendment and the trial of the former president Pervez Musharraf.

The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Nawaz Sharif in Raiwand on Wednesday.

Mian Nawaz Sharif said the nation would very soon hear the good news of the abolishment of the 17th Amendment.

Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif, Sardar Mehtab Abbasi, Sartaj Aziz, Senator Ishaq Dar, Ahsen Iqbal, Anushay Rehman, Zahid Hamid and Khuwaja Haris attended the meeting.

Addressing the meeting Mian Nawaz Sharif said,
